Senior Electrical Engineer for Solar PV Power plants • Technical joint-lead for global, successful solar PV • All electrical aspects for large scale PV projects • Suits electrical engineer with strong solar PV background The candidate will build on the company’s global leadership in the solar power plant segment and lead all electrical aspects in the planning, designing and build/management phase of large scale projects. Furthermore, you will act as the internal subject matter expert supporting the team in several international locations. This is an excellent and well-rewarded opportunity for an electrical engineer with experience in large scale projects (MW range). To be successful in this role you will need to have a good understanding of large scale power plant projects as well as exposure to large scale PV projects coupled with a degree in electrical engineering (or similar). In return, the company is offering a highly competitive salary/ bonus package and relocation expenses. 1st Line Support Engineer / IT Helpdesk Engineer We are currently seeking to expand out team of 1st Line Support Engineers / IT Helpdesk Engineer to support our Namibian office. You will provide 1st line IT Support assistance to end users experiencing any software, hardware or operational problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES: a) Provide first level telephone support to end-users. b) Escalate incidents assigned to IT Helpdesk Support to second line and third party support teams. c) Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes. d) Order and receive IT goods. e) Produce reports from the helpdesk system for review.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: a) Previous Helpdesk/ Desktop support experience working in Windows environment. b) Exposure to Active Directory or equivalent. c) Proven customer service skills and experience. d) Proven problem solving and administration skills. e) Good oral, written and telephone communication skills. f) Hardworking and quick to learn. g) Ability to work on own initiative, under pressure on occasion as well as in a team.
